This notice explains how Hard Times Archive handles information. It covers this website, usdocs.xyz, and the private uploading app we use to publish our films on YouTube. The app connects to YouTube through YouTube API Services, so the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy apply alongside this notice.

I.Who uses the app

The app belongs to the channel and is operated only by the people who make it. Nobody else can sign up for it or sign in to it, and it is connected to one Google account: ours.

II.What it reaches through Google

When we sign in and grant permission, the app may:

• upload our films and set their titles, descriptions, thumbnails and playlists;
• adjust the settings of our own channel;
• read the public comments under our videos, so that we can answer them or hide spam;
• read our figures from YouTube Analytics — views, watch time, audience retention and subscriber counts. These come as totals and do not identify any single viewer.

III.What we use it for

Running the channel: publishing, keeping our videos in order, and learning which parts of a film held the audience so that the next one is better.

IV.What we never do

We do not open anyone else’s account or private data. We do not sell or rent this information, hand it to others for their own purposes, or use it for advertising or profiling.

V.Where it is kept

Sign-in tokens, statistics and notes of moderation actions sit on a private server under our control. They stay there while the channel uses the app and are erased once access is withdrawn.

VI.Google’s rules

Our use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

VII.Withdrawing access

Permission can be withdrawn at any moment at myaccount.google.com/permissions. From then on the app can neither read nor change anything.

VIII.Visiting this site

This site has no accounts, forms or advertising, and it uses no analytics or tracking cookies. The company that hosts and protects it may process technical details, such as IP addresses, in order to deliver the pages.

IX.Changes and questions

If this notice changes, the new version will appear here under a new date. To reach us, use the contact details YouTube displays on the About page of our channel.
